SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Among the companies whose shares are expected to see active trade in Thursday’s session are Oracle Corp., Micron Technology Inc., Discover Financial Services /quotes/zigman/470130/quotes/nls/dfs DFS -1.87% , and Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.

Oracle /quotes/zigman/76584/quotes/nls/orcl ORCL -1.38%  is expected to report fourth-quarter earnings of 71 cents a share, according to a consensus survey by FactSet Research.

Micron /quotes/zigman/75433/quotes/nls/mu MU +0.37%  is projected to report third-quarter earnings of 18 cents a share.

H&R Block Inc. /quotes/zigman/219890/quotes/nls/hrb HRB +0.38%  is likely to report fourth-quarter earnings of $2.15 a share.

Lennar Corp. /quotes/zigman/232035/quotes/nls/len LEN +1.46%  is expected to post second-quarter earnings of 4 cents a share.

Finish Line Inc. /quotes/zigman/71779/quotes/nls/finl FINL -3.59%  is forecast to report first-quarter earnings of 30 cents a share.

Conagra Foods Inc. /quotes/zigman/222950/quotes/nls/cag CAG +1.97%  is likely to post fourth-quarter earnings of 48 cents a share.

Rite Aid Corp. /quotes/zigman/239690/quotes/nls/rad RAD -0.90%  is projected to report a loss of 12 cents a share in the first quarter.

After Wednesday’s closing bell, Bed Bath & Beyond /quotes/zigman/68991/quotes/nls/bbby BBBY 0.00%  reported its fiscal first-quarter profit rose to $181 million, or 72 cents a share, from $138 million, or 52 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue increased 10% to $2.11 billion from $1.92 billion.

Paychex Inc. /quotes/zigman/76829/quotes/nls/payx PAYX -0.87%  reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $182.8 million, or 33 cents a share, slightly up from $173.6 million, or 32 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 5% to $522.7 million from $496.2 million.

Prologis Inc. /quotes/zigman/5338164/quotes/nls/pld PLD +0.03%  will offer 30 million common shares in a public offering. The developer of industrial real estate also plans to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to 4.5 million additional shares.

Red Hat Inc. /quotes/zigman/208092/quotes/nls/rht RHT -0.07%  said its fiscal first-quarter profit rose to $32.5 million, or 17 cents a share, from $24.1 million, or 12 cents a share in the same period last year. The provider of open-source business software said revenue climbed 27% to $264.7 million. Excluding one-time items, Red Hat said earnings were 24 cents a share for the quarter.
